Eva doesn't like it when I brush her hair or clip her nails. I have tried in vain to explain to her that she will pay other people to do these things for her and love it one day but she just won't believe me. When I was a little girl my Mom cut my hair into one of those unisex, Luke Skywalker haircuts. I hated it them and looking back on the pictures, I hate it even more now. I wanted long hair. So, Eva is 26 months old and she has NEVER had her hair cut. Not even a little trim. She also has curly hair, which I didn't at that age, so I'm even more hesitant to cut it before it gets pretty long. I have been battling with her to put it pig tails or a pony tail to help keep her cool when she's playing outside. She's getting better about letting me do it but still frequently accuses me of pulling her hair while I'm putting in the rubber band. Here is a picture of Eva in the park the other day with "Pony Hair" as she calls it.
