I was redoing a collage of pictures on the fridge today and was looking at this old vacation picture of Jared and me. We looked a little different in it... was it because we are younger? Thinner? More tan? Almost certainly intoxicated? No, I think it's because the photo was taken BK or "Before Kids". Don't get me wrong, having kids is so much fun and I wouldn't trade them for anything but that amount of relaxation in my face and smile just doesn't exist right now. We clearly have no thoughts anywhere in our minds of where our kids are and if they are okay. Jared agrees with me on this. The picture was taken at my parent's beach club in Florida and we will be back there for an extended vacation (with the kids) this August. I will conduct an experiment and have us try to recreate the picture to compare side by side. You all can help me judge. Right now all this tells me is that I REALLY need A vacation!!!!!
