Goosey

A family friend brought over several presents for Eva and Jack last week. One of the things she gave Eva was a life sized stuffed goose. Eva fell in love instantly. Goosey, as she calls him, is a lot cuter in real life than in this picture where, for some reason, he looks kind of creepy. He is actually sitting in a chair here helping Eva color.

Anyway, Jared was putting Eva in her PJs and she was lying on the floor in her bedroom hugging Goosey around the neck. Out of nowhere she turns to the goose and says "Goosey, this job is for the birds!" Jared fell over he was laughing so hard. I would say I don't know where she gets this stuff but I do know... my mother.

In other Eva says hilarious stuff news, last week on the playground she started sulking for no reason I could figure and trudging around with her head down. A mother who doesn't know her well asked her what was wrong. Eva lifted her head and responded "It's just been a very long day." It was 10:30am.
