I don't have time to download all the cute videos of Eva swimming (it takes forever) so I'll just give you a synopsis of her vacation swimming exploits. She LOVES the pool. After she discovered Water Wings and swimming independence, she never set foot in the baby pool again. She was brave about going under... sometimes. That's a hard thing to get used to. We needed more time. She loves jumping off the side. She figured out Mr Jay doesn't always catch her though so she made sure he was holding hands with her before she jumped to him :)
At my parent's beach club the pool is only yards from the beach so Eva would run between the two. As you could see in the video I posted, she loves the ocean as well. It's great exercise to hang out on the beach with Eva because you have to play defense the whole time. She will try to run as far into the ocean as she can before you grab her. I have yet to find something she is afraid of. I mean, she doesn't even have a healthy fear of anything. She's kind of a bad-ass.
Jack just hung out by the pool watching Eva. I have a picture of him in his "Captain Adorable" T-shirt. He's a future bad-ass.
