We Are Christmas Ready!

We went to the farm to cut down our tree today! All the house decorations are up, all the everyday china has been replaced with our Christmas china to eat from, the presents have all been purchased and wrapped, our Christmas cards are being completed... and it's only Dec 4th!!! This is not only unprecedented for our family but exactly the opposite of how I usually operate! I'm hoping this will be a trend for years to come. I LOVE Christmas!!!
It was tough to pick a tree this year. We have a lower ceiling in our new house so we had to be careful that our eyes were not too big for our living room. It was difficult to find a short and fat tree but we happened across one that had been tall and fat but for some reason was missing the bottom! It worked perfectly! I took some pictures with and without the flash...
