The REAL Santa

I wasn't aware of the REAL Santa being available to visit as a kid but if you live in the DC area, Merrifield Nursery is the place! If you know the area, that place is a landmark:

My Mom always told me the guys at the mall were "helper Santas" who would relay my Christmas list for me to the REAL Santa. Obviously, the REAL Santa is too busy to meet with many kids this time of year so I always understood this. However, as I found out from a lady in my neighborhood, he is here and he even sends you off with a bible verse and lesson of the real meaning of Christmas! REALLY INCREDIBLE MAN! The wait to see the REAL Santa can be up to 4 hours long, as we learned today. That's right, Dads are sent hours in advance to hold a place for everyone. We did the sneaky thing and sent Dad at closing so he only waited an hour. More than worth it... he spends a very quality and memorable 10 minutes with each family.
