Eva was a pink and white flying horse and Jack was Thomas the Train. Our new neighborhood is just so much fun, there was a wonderful block party at the end of the street, probably about 15 kids all dressed up and soooo excited! They played all sorts of cute games like hitting the eyeball pinata or eating a doughnut hanging from a tree by a string without using their hands.
Trick or Treating was long and exhausting. Eva and her BFF Sabrina insisted on running as fast as they could from house to house. Jack was a real trouper and was very serious about the whole thing. He walked for so long and so far, always saying both "trick or treat" and "thank you" at the door. Gamma and Grandpa (Jared's parents) were in town and dressed up as M & Ms.
Eva also had a parade at school. When the class lined up for a picture, Jack ran away from my side and marched right next to Eva in line. He is not one for being left out!
