We sold our house! We sold our house! That's right, after almost a year and a half of trying, we got a good price- for sale by owner I might add. We had 3 weeks to pack up and go, with no place to go! So what did we do? Go on summer vacation, of course! We packed our stuff into 3 PODS, went to settlement at 11am and were on the AutoTrain to FL at 2!
What is the Auto Train? It is awesomeness. It's an overnight train that takes you and your car from Washington DC to Orlando, FL. You check in at 2, wine tasting with cheese and crackers is from 3-4, sit down dinner at 6 and family movie in the lounge car 7. We got a family cabin with a bathroom to sleep in and had a lovely sit down breakfast at 7am. The train pulls into the station around 8:30am and then you wait for your packed minivan to be unloaded so you can drive away(it was mostly families). So cool! Jack must have said "Choo-choo" about 1,000 times during the trip. It was an adventure all in itself, I highly recommend it!
